.Fiscal Court holds first meeting of year

    GREENVILLE — Just minutes after being sworn into office Jan. 1, Muhlenberg County Judge-Executive Rick Newman presided over his first fiscal court meeting.
    A special-called meeting was held at 1:45 p.m. in the Muhlenberg Fiscal Courtroom to start the new year with officially re-hiring county appointed positions and naming the officials and employees who have signature card privileges at banking institutions on behalf of the county.
