Jerry Wayne Drake, 60, died Monday, Jan.
22, 2007 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.
Born in Muhlenberg County March 20, 1946,
he was disabled and of the Holiness faith.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years,
Judy Ann Drake of Central City; a son, Larry Wayne Drake of
Greenville; two daughters, Teresa Ann Knight of Greenville
and Angela Denise Holland of Central City; seven grandchildren;
a great-grandchild; two brothers, Lonnie Drake of Clay and
Larry Drake of Sebree; and three sisters, Lois Cook of Owensboro,
Dorine Hoops of Beaver Dam and Clarabell Yates of Madisonville.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Jan.
25 at Tucker Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Yates officiating.
Burial followed in Wilcox Cemetery in Central City.

she was a homemaker and
a member of Powderly United
Methodist Church. She

Auxiliary Post 61 American
Legion and a charter member
of Fraternal Order of
Eagles. She was preceded
in death by her husband,
Owen Perry in 1990.

retired transformer technician
for General Electric and
a United States Army veteran.
He was preceded in death

June Norris

– Gloria June Norris,
80, went to be with her
heavenly father Saturday,
Jan. 27, 2007 from Deaconess
Hospital in Evansville.
A Greenville
native, she was the daughter
of the late Brank and
Daisy Southard Norris.
She was a homemaker and
a member of Walnut Memorial
Baptist Church, where
she sang in the choir,
taught Girls in Action
and ministered by sending
cards to members for birthdays
and other occasions. As
a young lady she worked
for the ration board in
Greenville during World
War II and painted with
oil colors. She loved
her family, home and her
beloved cat, Tiger and
she enjoyed cooking.
Survivors
include her husband of
49 years, Paul Norris;
a son, Kevin Norris of
Owesboro; a daughter,
Melissa Norris of Owensboro;
two sisters, Sarah Winebarger
of Greenville and Sue
(Jack) Stearman of Gallatin,
Tenn.; and a cousin, Mary
Lee Stone of Honolulu.

16, 1917, she retired
in 1976 as a school teacher
for Muhlenberg County
schools. She was a teacher
and a member of Woodland
Baptist Church. She was
preceded in death by her
husband, Stroud Taylor,
a brother, a nephew and
two nieces.
