Lady Stars blast Lady Suns 8-1

    GREENVILLE – Muhlenberg North pounded out its second-highest hit total of the season with 15 and slammed homestanding Muhlenberg South 8-1 April 27.
    Clarissa Smith was sensational for the Stars (10-13), going 4-for-4 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored.   Brittany Everly was 2-for-5 in the contest with two RBI and a run scored.

Muhlenberg South Lady Suns nip Lady Stars 5-4

GREENVILLE – Muhlenberg South’s No. 1 singles player Catherine Schmidt scored a 6-0, 6-2 win over Muhlenberg North’s Katie Palmer April 27 to help the Suns to a 5-4 team victory over the Stars at MSHS.

Suns take down Hopkins Co. Central 6-1

Burton overcomes adversity to finish eighth in Aaron’s 312

    TALLADEGA, AL – The recipe for success at Talladega Superspeedway for any NASCAR team is lots of hard work, a fast car, patience, and a little “luck”. The No. 27 Cottonelle Aloe & E Team from Brewco Motorsports had all those ingredients in the Aaron’s 312 Saturday afternoon and earned a hard-fought 8th-place finish.
