North netters defeat McLean County



North’s Erica Matheny defeated McLean County’s Callie Hayden 8-1 May 1 in Greenville. The Lady Stars beat McLean Co. 7-2. North’s Meagan Kirk  beat Tori Hinton to win the No. 1 singles match.

Lady Suns beat Ohio Co. 2-1

    The Lady Suns improved their record to 12-6 May 1 as they defeated Ohio County 2-1. Pinch-runner Audrey Vincent scored on an error in the bottom of seventh inning for the Lady Suns.

Future Lady Stars basketball camp set for  May 29-June 1

    POWDERLY – Muhlenberg North Lady Stars coach Mike Harper has announced that the 2007 Future Lady Stars Elementary Basketball Camp will be held May 29 through June 1 at the Longest Elementary School Gymnasium.
    All elementary students who have just finished grades 2-7 are eligible to participate.


McMurray takes No. 37 Cub Cadet Ford to 19th place finish

    RICHMOND, VA  – Jamie McMurray fought grip issues, but was able to pilot Brewco Motorsports’ No. 37 Cub Cadet Ford Fusion to a solid 19th place finish in the Circuit City 250 at Richmond International Raceway Friday night.
