13, 2007 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville.
Born in Muhlenberg County Sept. 20, 1963,
she was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Lee
Watkins of Central City; two sons, Carl Lee Watkins, Jr. and
Kirk Lee Watkins, both of Central City; a daughter, Vanessa
Watkins of Central City; and three brothers, Freddie Baker
of Central City, and Fred Baker and Ronnie Baker, both of
Owensboro.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. May
19 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Otis Cunningham
officiating. Burial followed in West End Cemetery in Greenville.

charter member
of the Freedom
Baptist Church
and a member of
the John T. Carndell
Masonic Lodge.
He graduated from
the Stamps-Baxter
School of Music
in 1942 and taught
numerous singing
schools at churches
inside and outside
the western Kentucky
area. He was lead
singer for the
Graham Quartet,
who traveled thousands
of miles from
Mississippi to
Canada to bring
the gospel through
their music to
all who heard
them. The Graham
Quartet was one
of the first quartets
to be invited
by Wally Fowler
to appear on WSM's
"All Night Singing"
when it began.
They sang regularly
with the Speer
Family, the Blackwood
Brothers, the
John Daniel Quartet,
Wally Fowler and
the Oak Ridge
Boys, the Jordanaires
and the Happy
Goodman Family.
He was also a
farmer and a sawmill
owner. He was
preceded in death
