Jean F. Lipe
Jean F. Lipe, 65, of Central City, died
Monday, May 28 in the Western Baptist Hospital as the result
of an accident.
Born in Greenville Aug. 14, 1941, she
was the daughter of the late George Edward Garrett and Melda
Corinne Heltsley Garrett. She worked in produce sales for
Wetterau for 17 years and Central City Produce for three
years. She was presently working for Clarks Restaurant Service.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a
member of Second Baptist Church in Greenville.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years,
Joe Lipe; a daughter, Teresa McRoy Wooten of Fredericksburg,
Va.; a son, Linden (Debra) Lipe III of Central City; four
grandchildren, Peyton Cole Lipe, Ally Heflin, Peyton Garrett
Lipe and Lindey Jo Lipe; and a brother, James Howard (Judy)
Garrett of Chandler, Ind.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m.
May 31 at Second Baptist Church with Dr. Ray England and
the Rev. Bob Thurman officiating. Burial followed in Friendship
Cemetery in Greenville. Gary's Funeral Home was in charge
of arrangements.
