Tudor captures Greenville Invitational title
GREENVILLE – Brad Tudor is no stranger to the golf
links of the Greenville Country Club – something he showed clearly this
weekend by firing a first-round 62 and holding off a hard-charging Jared
Topmiller on Sunday to win the Greenville Invitational Tournament by
two strokes.
Sunday’s victory was the second GIT title for Tudor,
a Greenville native who honed his exceptional skills on the hilly slopes
of the GCC. Tudor’s victory comes on the event’s 50th anniversary.
Tudor finished with a 62-66-128, while Topmiller fired a 68-62-130.

Top five for Keller, No. 27
Ford in Milwaukee
WEST ALLIS, WI - Jason Keller and Brewco
Motorsports’ No. 27 Cottonelle Aloe & E Ford team gave their hometown
sponsor guests plenty to cheer about Saturday with a fifth-place finish
in the AT&T 250 at The Milwaukee Mile.
Kimberly-Clark, the primary sponsor of Brewco’s
No. 27 Ford, was founded in 1872 in Neenah, Wisconsin, and still maintains
a significant presence in the town. More than 300 K-C employees and several
VIPs in attendance at the race Saturday night were ready to cheer on Keller
and the Cottonelle Aloe & E team.
Fish and Wildlife Resources
encourage water precaution
FRANKFORT – People all over Kentucky
are gearing up for a trip to the water this July 4 holiday. Kentucky’s
lakes and rivers offer a great place to fish or spend time on a boat,
and offer a welcome break from hectic work life.
Many boaters enjoy personal watercraft, known by such
names as the Sea-Doo, Jet Ski, WaveRunner and AquaTrax. It’s easy to see
why personal watercraft are so popular. They’re fun. They’re fast. They’re
powerful. But these little boats require a bit of extra precaution to
keep everyone’s weekend safe and fun.
