The mother of one of three Greenville teenagers charged with attempted murder is calling into question the competency of the agency that placed her son in a home where he was able to steal weapons, assault an elderly couple and shoot at police officers last month.
“My child was 100 percent in the wrong, I am not questioning that, but with the history he had, he should never have been placed with a couple in their 70s,” said Katrina Kimbrell of Paducah, mother of the 16-year-old boy who allegedly shot at Greenville Police officers while trying to escape.

“We decided only two weeks ago to plan a classic car show and motorcycle show simultaneously,” said Greenville City Administrator Ben VanHooser. “We did it on a shoestring budget with limited time, and we were pleasantly surprised at the huge response.”
