DRAKESBORO – Rebecca Kay Burden, 63, died
Monday, Dec. 18, 2006 at her residence in Drakesboro.
Born in Muhlenberg County March 3, 1943,
she was a homemaker and a member of Mud River Union General
Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, J.P. Burden;
a son, James Eric Burden of Beechmont; a daughter, Jamie Hamby
of Mayfield; a brother, Eldon Sumner of Rantoul, Ill.; and eight
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Dec.
21 at Mud River Union General Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian
Haire officiating. Burial followed in the Mud River Union Cemetery
in Belton. Tucker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

– Marilyn Sue Vincent, 68,
died Wednesday, Dec. 20,
2006 at Regional Medical
Center in Madisonville.

7, 1938, she was a homemaker
and a member of the Bethlehem

77, died Wednesday, Dec.
20, 2006 at his residence
in Drakesboro.

in Butler, Pa. July 2, 1929,
he was employed in Quality
Control at Eastman Kodak
in Rochester, N.Y. and was
a member of the Presbyterian
faith in Brockport, N.Y.
He was an Army veteran.
He was preceded in death
by his wife, Rosemary Snyder
and a son, Marc Snyder.

where she was the Director
of Pupil Personnel.

Lyndell
“ Eddie” Reed, 67, died
Friday, Dec. 22, 2006 at
his home in Central City.

June 1, 1939, he was the
son of the late Charlie
and Valeria Vincent Reed.
He graduated from Central
City High School in 1957
and served in the U.S. Air
Force. He was a member of
Central City First Baptist
Church and retired from
the IC Railroad in 2002.
He enjoyed his lake and
his friends.
