North Stars defeat North Hopkins 67-63
Muhlenberg North’s Aaron Morris hit two free throws
with four seconds left to seal the win for the Stars during the opening
round of the George Taylor Classic Dec. 21 at North. The Stars defeated
visiting Madisonville-North Hopkins 67-63. Morris led the Stars with
30 points. Scotty Wells added 12 for the Stars. The Stars remain undefeated
with 6-0 record.

South posts pair of wins at Citizens First Bank Classic
Diedrich hits six 3-pointers to lead South with
18 points
Muhlenberg South posted a pair of wins at the Citizens
First Bank Classic at Bowling Green High School Dec. 21. In the first
game the Suns defeated North Hardin 59-53. South was led by Richard Carver
with 18 points and Michael Civils added 13.
South will honor former alumni
Muhlenberg South High School would like to honor former
Greenville, Hughes-Kirk, Muhlenberg Central and Drakesboro basketball
players, coaches and cheerleaders. We are inviting all Greenville
alumni on January 5th, Hughes-Kirk alumni on January 16th, Muhlenberg
Central alumni on January 30th and Drakesboro alumni on February 16th.
Alumni Greenville, Hughes-Kirk and Drakesboro will be recognized at approximately
7:30 PM (in between the girls and boys varsity games).
